We start with a local departure for our journey south and stay for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Kilbirnie Hotel.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, The Kilbirnie Hotel facilities include two pools, a sauna, fitness suite and a secluded sun terrace (note some facilities may be chargeable) All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, smart-TVs, USB ports & tea and coffee making facilities. With fresh, local produce and locally caught seafood used where possible in the beautiful flagship restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a cosy bar and the hotel is just a short stroll into town and with 7 beaches nearby, this hotel is the perfect place to visit on our September special.
During your stay we have
included these great excursions:
- A trip to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries along its cobbled stoned streets and harbour side. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us to the heart of town.
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to take a short cruise on the River Fal or visit Pendennis Castle, (admission not included).
You may also like to join us on a
optional excursion to:
- The Eden Project - a dramatic global garden the size of thirty football pitches featuring the worlds largest greenhouses and home to a giant indoor rainforest and showcase of plant species often found in tropical countries. The Eden Project is an educational experience taking you on a journey of discovery, learning all about not just plant life, but Health, Conservation, Art and Craft, Architecture, Culture, Energy, Engineering and of Course, Natural Science. Price £39.95 including admission. (minimum numbers required to operate).
