We start with a local departure for our journey via the cross Channel ferry or Eurotunnel to the Continent. From here we make our way to our first overnight stopover hotel.
On day 2 we head south to the Italian spa city of Montecatini. Here accommodation has been reserved at a 4* Hotel in the Montecatini area such as the Hotel Du Park, Regini, Biondi Hotel (or similar) for 5 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- Florence - Italy’s art city. Don’t miss the spires and domes. The Piazza Della Signoria offers the ideal place to watch the world go by. Also visit the famous Ponte Vecchio or the great Duomo
- Rome - A visit to the ‘Eternal City’ with its delightful treasures to explore. Don’t miss the serenity of the Vatican City and the beautiful Sistine Chapel, toss a coin and make a wish at the wonderful Trevi Fountain or admire the imposing Colosseum and Roman Forum. It is a city packed with grand romantic ruins, statues, churches and monuments.
- Pisa - Today we take you to this famous city with its fine Italian facades and the famouse leaning tower. The tower is situated on the green carpet of the Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the most famous squares in Pisa.
Please Note: Our coach cannot access central Rome. We will drop you at a point outside the city and you must make your own transfers at extra cost on the transport therefrom
- You will also have a day at leisure to explore and enjoy Montecatini Terme. The picturesque Tuscan town is known for its thermal baths and stunning Belle Epoque architecture. Enjoy the lush gardens and have a drink or savour delicious Italian cuisine while enjoying the town's serene and charming atmosphere.
On day 7 we commence our journey home, travelling to our overnight stopover, arriving back on day 8.
