We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south. At Torquay we have 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation reserved at the either the Riviera Hotel or the Ashley Court Hotel.
Riviera Hotel - this is set approximately 15 minutes walk from the town centre and a few minutes walk from the beach. Features include an indoor swimming pool (seasonal opening) and well appointed rooms with a restaurant and bar.
The Ashley Court Hotel - this is set approximately 10 minutes walk from Torquay's beaches and town centre. There is a restaurant and bar. All rooms are well appointed.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A half day visit to charming Totnes with its lovely riverside walks, Georgian houses and Norman castle ruin. We continue to Paignton - famous for its mile long sandy beach backed by a promenade, harbour and traditional pier.
- Plymouth - known for its maritime heritage and historic Barbican district with narrow cobbled streets. Sutton Harbour is home to the National Marine Aquarium where sharks and stingrays glide in a deep tank (admission not included).
