We start with a local departure for our journey south and stay for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Beresford Hotel, Newquay. This is located on the sea front with views over Tolcarne Beach and a short walk into Newquay. Facilities include a bar, ballroom, two comfortable lounges and games area and sea views from the conservatory.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A visit as far as we can go in Cornwall to Land’s End, with free time before heading to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries along its cobbled stoned streets and harbour side. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us to the heart of town.
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to take a short cruise on the River Fal or visit Pendennis Castle, (admission not included). Next we travel to Truro – county town of Cornwall, dominated by its splendid cathedral.
