We start with a local coach departure for our journey by the ferry or Eurotunnel to France. We make our way to Paris where we will stay at a good class hotel. During your stay we have included the following excursions:
- A Capital Tour. During the day we take in the Arc De Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and Champs Elysees. After the panoramic tour of the main sites you can explore at your own pace. Alternatively you can join a Seine River Cruise - cost not included.
- Versailles and Paris - We head for Versailles - home to the famous chateau and its beautiful gardens. There will be time to enjoy the glorious era of Louis X1V – “ The Sun King” - and the world of Marie Antoinette. If visiting the gardens enjoy a relaxing stroll along Versailles’ own Grand canal or discover the many fountains and pools .If you choose to visit the Chateau, there are several admission ticket options available depending on what you want to see. Entrance to the gardens is usually free except on days of fountain shows and musical gardens. Chateau entrance is at an extra cost and must be booked in advance by you.
