We start with a local departure by coach for our crossing to the Continent. Overnight accommodation has been reserved in France / Germany tonight.
On day 2 we continue our journey south, arriving at our hotel. We stay at the 4-Star Hotel Mirage. This design hotel is set approximately 50 yards from the beach. It offers wonderful views of Lake Garda, an outdoor swimming pool and a spa. (Some facilities chargeable). All rooms are well appointed. The hotel’s glass bar serves international cocktails in a stylish lounge or on the panoramic terrace. The cuisine here is well recommended.
Accommodation has been reserved for 5 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A Lake Garda circular tour taking in the shore line of lemon groves and the capital of Lake Garda – Garda. At the southern end the shore line narrows giving a fjord like quality to the scenery. We also call in at Malcesine
- A visit to Verona – one of Italy’s most beautiful and historic cities. Don’t miss the impressive square – Piazza Bra – with its ornate fountains and delightful pavement cafes dominated by the magnificent Roman arena – the 3rd largest in the world
- A visit to Venice. Enjoy the famous sights including the Bridge of Sighs, St Mark’s Square and the Doges Palace. Boat transfer included. Please Note: Any admission charges / taxes etc payable for entering Venice are not included. These are payable on arrival in cash.
Day 7 – commence our return journey home via an overnight stopover, arriving back on day 8
