Highclere is the ancestral home of the Earls of Carnarvon.  It is one of England's most important castles.  Set in spectacular parkland the stunning State Rooms include the Saloon, music room and library.  The castle was one of the major film locations for the TV programme 'Downton Abbey' with a movie having recently been produced in the grounds.

Price Includes:

  • Coach travel
  • Admission to Highclere Castle - this will be approximately 13.30 hours.

Not Included:

  • Personal expenditure, gratuities, any admission charges, (other than stated)
  • Any meals or drinks etc.

Your Itinerary:

We start with a local departure and make our way to Highclere Castle.  We plan to stop for a coffee break en route in the Cotswolds before continuing to Highclere.  Price includes admission to the Castle and Egyptian exhibition and a self-led tour. Timed admission is included at 1.30 pm.
