Holy Island, Bamburgh & Northumberland Coast

• Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island – an excursion visiting the charming coastal villages of Seahouses and Bamburgh, plus a trip across the tidal causeway to the delightful unspoilt Holy Island of Lindisfarne. It is famous for its tranquillity, spirituality and scenic beauty.  It is only accessible across a causeway
• Northumberland coast. Drive along the stunning coastline taking in the market town of Rothbury, Alnwick with its cobbled streets, narrow alleyways and fine stone buildings and finally Alnmouth
• Durham and the Angel of the North – a visit to the cathedral city of Durham with its iconic cathedral and castle World Heritage site plus a photo stop at the giant Angel of the North sculpture
• 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation at the Holiday Inn, Newcastle, Gosforth Park.  This is set in 18 acres of grounds approximately 6 miles from Newcastle centre and within easy reach of the Northumbrian coastline.  All rooms are well appointed and reatures include a fitness centre and spa with indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
