on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway
Day Trip

In March the legendary locomotive - Number 60162 'Tornado' will steam in the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.  The stunning Peppercorn A1 Pacific class engine has been on a whirlwind of tours since she began moving under her own steam in 2008.  You too can now travel on the return jorney from Grosmont to Pickering and back through the stunning North Yorkshire Moors National Park. To round things off we visit historic York.

Price Includes:

  • Coach travel
  • Return journey on train hauled by the 'Tornado' steam train

Not Included:

  • Personal expenditure, gratuities or any other applicable admission charges

Important Note:

No compensation will apply in the following circumstances:

  • If we miss the 'Tornado' steam train journey due to bad traffic conditions etc
  • If 'Tornado' steam train is replaced by diesel or other steam locomotive to carry out the trip

Your Itinerary:

We travel north to York, where on arrival there will be time for shopping or sightseeing.  Afterwards we travel to either Grosmont or Pickering where we join the return journey on the 'Tornado' service.  The current time that the train is booked is at 15.40 hours.

Please note that dogs (except assistance dogs) may not be taken on the 'Tornado' services.
