We start with a local departure for our journey north to historic York. This is one of the world’s great tourism cities with its famous walls, the Minster and the National Railway Museum, (admission not included). Don’t miss ‘The Shambles’ – with its traditional buildings and shopping opportunities. From here we make our way to our hotel – The Grand at Scarborough. This is located in the town centre, overlooking the harbour and South Bay. Features include a restaurant, bar and cabaret room.
On day 2 we take in the beauty of the magnificent North Yorkshire Moors and there is free time in lovely Whitby.
On day 3 we spend some time in Scarborough before commencing our return journey home, arriving back later on.
