We start with a local departure for our journey east. Accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Quorn Hotel. The hotel is family owned and managed and offers warm, friendly welcome. It is situated on Skegness promenade, just seconds from the beach, bowling green, theatre and pier and it is approximately a 5 minute stroll to the shops and town centre.
All rooms are en suite and tastefully furnished. They are equipped with TV and tea / coffee making facilities etc. A lift serves the first two floors.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- Boston and Spalding. Both towns have a rich history. Boston was a hugely important port until the river silted up in the last 1600s
- Lincoln. Lincoln’s splendid cathedral is one of the finest in the country and is surrounded by many other fascinating buildings of all periods including its castle which houses one of the 4 remaining original copies of the Magna Carta.
