Your Itinerary:

We start with a local departure and make our way to the Welsh port where we board the ferry for the sea crossing to Ireland. After disembarking we make our way across Ireland to our hotel – the Falls Hotel and Spa, Ennistymon, Co. Clare.  Due to travelling times we will arrive during the mid to late evening. Housed in an 18th Century mansion, beside the River Inagh, 5 minutes walk from Ennistymon. Features include a gym, indoor pool and outdoor hot tub overlooking the River Inagh. All rooms are well appointed and there is a bar and riverside restaurant.

During your stay we have included these great excursions:

  • We travel firstly to Spanish Point where we reach the Cliffs of Moher with its excellent Visitor Centre. Here you can marvel at how the aggressive Atlantic breakers have created a spectacular natural wonder. We continue to Doolin – regarded as the home of traditional Irish music, to reach the old spa resort of Lisdoonvarna – famous for its Autumn Match Making Festival!
  • We skirt the bleak landscape of the Burren and the waters of Galway Bay to reach the colourful city of Galway. Take time to discover the uniquely shaped cathedral, the impressive Spanish Arch or simply enjoy the enchanting squares and lanes crowned with brightly painted shops and bars
  • A visit to Limerick. Don’t miss St John’s Castle, telling the tale of Limerick’s stand against the English siege. Alternatively you can explore this lively city with its fine Georgian architecture, grand museums and vibrant street traders. This afternoon we head for the Buratty Folk Park, one of Ireland’s leading attractions, bringing 19th century Ireland to life. (Admission included)
