We start with a local departure by coach and make our way to our hotel – the Seabank. This is Porthcawl’s most prominent building situated on the headland a short walk from the Grand Pavilion and John Street shops. There are spectacular views of the Bristol Channel and the South Wales coast from the bar / restaurant and most bedrooms. All rooms are well appointed with private facilities, colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- Tenby - The 2 superb beaches and photogenic harbour are overlooked by pastel coloured Georgian and Regency buildings. There are narrow streets and fortified walls creating a unique atmosphere.
- Swansea and the Mumbles - The Mumbles is a traditional Victorian seaside resort at the entrance to the Gower – a beautiful peninsular and Britain’s first designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Swansea is a bustling city full of interest including a National Waterfront Museum and Dylan Thomas Centre.
