Your Holiday Itinerary:
Day 1 - departure from your local area and travel by coach for our crossing to the Continent. After clearing Customs formalities we continue to our overnight stopover in France.
Day 2 - we continue our journey south to the Italian spa city of Montecatini.
Day 3 – optional visit to the art city of Florence. A guided walking tour is included. Don’t miss the Palazzo Vecchio, cathedral, the Bell Tower and the Ponte Vecchio – Florence’s lovely old bridge. Price: £39.95 per person
Day 4 – we travel onwards to Naples. Brief time in the city before we board the ship to Sicily which departs at approximately 18.00 hours. En suite cabins are included on board.
Day 5 - we arrive at approximately 07.00 hours in Palermo. Enjoy a guided tour of Palermo. Continue to the Taormina area where accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Day 6 – optional excursion takes us to Mount Etna – Europe’s highest active volcano at 3,350 metres. Our coach takes us within 1,900 metres. If the weather is good you can visit the summit by local bus, (optional – charge extra). Later, enjoy free time in Taormina. Price: £29.95 per person
Day 7 – optional excursion to Siracusa – once one of the richest and most beautiful cities in the ancient world, even rivalling Athens. Its most famous resident was Archimedes. There is a wonderful collection of limestone buildings dating back mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries. The old port area is worth a visit – full of small fishing boats unloading their catch. During the day we also visit Catania. Price: £29.95 per person
Day 8 – day at leisure
Day 9 - we travel across to the mainland and continue to the Sorrento Peninsular area where we have 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation reserved.
Day 10 – day at leisure for you to explore the local region. Alternatively you can join our optional tour to the island of Capri. We take you on a sea cruise from Sorrento. On the island there is an included guided tour by mini bus with plenty of time for shopping and sightseeing. Price: £79.95 per person.
Day 11 – again at leisure. Alternatively you can join our optional visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius. We take you firstly for a guided visit to see the city of the Roman Empire which was frozen in time when nearby Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD and buried the entire area under a layer of hot ash. Afterwards we take you to Vesuvius itself. Price: Inc admission to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius volcano area - £79.95 per person

Day 12 – we head north, back through Italy to the Lake Garda area for our overnight stopover.
Day 13 – today we have included a Lake Garda circular tour taking in the shoreline of lemon groves and the capital of Lake Garda – Garda. As well we visit Malcesine and Riva.
Day 14 – we travel to France for our overnight stopover.
Day 15 – we make our way home arriving back later on.
Please Note: Due to the local terrain in the Sorrento Peninsular area hotels may be located away from towns and villages and are sometimes in isolated locations. They normally offer value-for-money accommodation but please note it may be difficult to travel independently from them. No correspondence will be entered into about the hotel location, food quality etc as this does vary and is reflected in the price charged for the holiday.
