Your Itinerary:

Beautiful alpine scenery, friendly hospitality and a top class hotel are the main ingredients of this spectacular holiday to Austria. We stay in the village of Flirsch. The town is bordered by mountains and green meadows. It is approximately a 30 minute bus ride away from the international ski resort of St Anton. In St Anton the Tourist Office can provide you with maps, information and details and dates for cable cars etc.

Day 1
You will leave from your chosen departure point during the early morning for the Channel crossing to the Continent. Continue to Germany for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast, continue our journey to Austria. Here accommodation has been reserved for 5 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

During your stay we have included these great excursions:

Lake Constance and Bregenz. Lake Constance is one of the largest lakes in central Europe and bordered by Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Bregenz on the Austrian side of the lake is the oldest city on the lake with its own floating theatre. There are shady quays and colourful flowerbeds. Optional cruises are available on the lake.
Innsbruck. Don’t miss the many fine buildings – testament to the city’s regal past, including the famous ‘Golden Roof’ and the Hofburg Palace. You can also visit the modern Berg Isel Olympic Ski Jump with wonderful views overlooking the city.
Neuschwanstein Castle. Today we travel over the Fernpass to Schwangau home to the spectacular Neuschwanstein Castle. The castle has a breathtaking setting on a rock outcrop and is one of the most popular of Europe’s palaces and castles. Basic admission is included. Please Note: It is a steep climb up to the castle. If you are unable to undertake this you can wait for the party to return. Admission fee cannot be refunded in these circumstances.

Day 7
Sadly it is time to bid a fond farewell to Austria and commence our journey north to our overnight stopover in France / Germany for the night.

Day 8
After breakfast continue our journey home, arriving back later on.
