We start with a local departure for our journey north. Accommodation has been reserved for 6 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Selborne Hotel. This is superbly situated looking across the Clyde with pleasant lawns reaching down to the promenade and waters edge. All the public rooms have great views of the river which is a constant source of interest. Ground floor areas include a TV lounge, bar lounge with dance floor, quiet lounge and games room. All rooms have private facilities, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is free Wi-Fi in public areas and some bedrooms.

- We travel along Loch Eck to the shores of Loch Fyne and Inverary. We then travel on to Oban – the principal town on the west coast and port for many of the ferry services
- A visit to Loch Lomond and the picturesque village of Luss
- Optional excursion to Contraive, then via a short ferry crossing to the Isles of Bute. We continue to its capital – Rothsesay – one of Clyde’s most famous resorts which also boasts a fine castle - £15 per person
