Criccieth enjoys splendid views over the Cardigan Bay. It is home to a Mediaeval castle built by the Welsh in the mid 13th Century. The castle divides the town into 2 with a pebbly beach to the west and a lovely sheltered mainly sandy beach to the east. The countryside around is breathtaking with awesome mountain scenery of Snowdonia and delightful gardens and castles at every turn.

Your Itinerary:

We start with a local departure by coach and make our way to Criccieth and the George IV Hotel. This is set on the High Street in the centre of town with magnificent views towards the sea and castle. All rooms have private facilities, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

During your stay we have included these great excursions:

A visit to the Snowdonia National Park
A visit to Portmeirion village. This unique village is set on its own peninsular on the southern shores of Snowdonia. It was the setting used for the famous TV series 'The Prisoner'. There are lovely gardens and fascinating vistas at every turn. (Entrance included in the tour cost).
