We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south. Accommodation has been reserved at the Medehamstede Hotel - a Victorian building with plenty of character. It is set in attractive gardens. The esplanade town of Shanklin and its famous old beach are within walking distance. There is a bar and all rooms are well appointed.
