Day 2 - After breakfast we will continue our journey through Germany and into Poland and make our way to Krakow. Here the next 5 nights hotel accommodation is reserved at Hotel Chopin. Arrival will be in time for dinner.

Day 3 – today we explore Krakow with a guided walking tour.  The city is packed with interesting sights including Montejko Square, Wawel Castle, St Mary’s Square – home to an important Basilica and the eye catching Cloth Hall in the main market square

Day 4 – today we take you Auschwitz.  This was the most notorious of the wartime Concentration Camps.  We begin at the Museum and we have included an audio guide to take you through the memorials and daily life of the prisoners

Day 5 – today we take you to the Wieliczka Salt mine.  This was placed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1978.  It is one of the world’s oldest operating salt mines.  There are salt carvings and there is even a chapel entirely carved out of rock salt

Day 6 – today we head for the Tatra Mountains.  We spend some time in the mountain resort of Zakopane – with its wide choice of bars, restaurants and cafes

Day 7 – today we bid a fond farewell to Poland and head for Germany for our overnight stopover
