We start with a local departure for our journey north. We firstly take you to the centre of Liverpool. There will be plenty of time for shopping and sightseeing. Don’t miss the Albert Docks and many of the bright new buildings created as part of a vibrant new Liverpool. Later on we check in to our hotel – the landmark Adelphi. It features 3 restaurants, a resident’s bar, elegant lounge areas and an indoor swimming pool. All rooms have private facilities, colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities. Dinner is included tonight and, to round things off, there is a 99p bar for a limited time. Times and available drinks will be notified to you at the hotel.

On day 2 breakfast is at leisure and afterwards we check out. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy Liverpool. As an optional extra we have a guided Beatles coach tour. This will transport you back to the Liverpool of the 1940s, ‘50s and early ‘60s when the 4 boys were growing up in the city. Price: £9.95 per person
