We start with a local departure and take you to Canterbury. Whitefriars Square, in the centre of Canterbury, is the location for the Mediaeval city’s annual Christmas market. Visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Yuletime market while relaxing with a glass of Gluhwein and listening to traditional Christmas music. There are a range of unusual Christmas gifts usually available. As well the shopping in Canterbury is superb with a wide selection of stores – just the place to pick up that elusive Christmas gift. We recommend that you have a bite to eat before we continue to our overnight hotel where accommodation has been reserved on a bed and breakfast basis. After checking in the remainder of the evening is at leisure.
Day 2 – check out and make our way to Leeds Castle. Here you enter a magical world of enchantment as you wander through the magnificent Castle rooms, beautifully decorated with the scenes inspired by classic pantomimes.
