In the Black Forest we stay at the 3* Superior Hotel Klosterbraustuben. This is a friendly, family run hotel not far from the centre of the village of Unterharmesbach. It is made up of the main building and the guest house directly opposite the hotel. All rooms have private bathrooms, satellite TV, telephone and most have a balcony. Features at the hotel include restaurant, bar, an indoor swimming pool as well as solarium, sauna and relaxation area. (Some facilities chargeable).

Your Itinerary
Day One
Departure from local pick up points for our journey to the channel port. Here we take the short sea crossing to the Continent. We continue our journey to our overnight hotel where accommodation is reserved on a bed and continental breakfast basis.
Day 2
After breakfast we continue to make our way to The Black Forest Region and our hotel. Here the next 5 nights dinner bed and breakfast accommodation is reserved.
Day 3
After Breakfast we take you on a scenic trip through the Kinzig Valley, with a visit to the historical old town of Schilitach. The town is surrounded by picturesque mountains. During the day we visit the Glass Blowing Museum in Wolfach. Here you can blow your own ‘blautze’, (blank glass), under the instruction of a professional craftsman.
Day 4
Our excursion today takes us to Freiburg. This bustling university town lies close to the French and Swiss borders. During the day we have included a visit the World of Badischer Winzerkeller with a guided tour and wine tasting.
Day 5
Today's excursion is to Schonach – home of the largest cuckoo clock factory in The Black Forest. The first cuckoo clock was created here in the heart of the Black Forest. Afterwards we visit Triberg, set against a romantic landscape with the highest waterfall in Germany.
Day 6
Our final Excursion of our stay is to Strasbourg - headquarters of the European Parliament. With its monumental cathedral featuring carvings as delicate as any piece of lacework, Strasbourg is one of Europe’s most attractive cities. Thanks to the richness and sheer density of its heritage sites, the entire town centre has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage. A guided tour is included.
Day 7
Check out of the hotel following breakfast and commence our journey home. We will make our way to our overnight hotel which is once again reserved on a bed and continental breakfast basis.
Day 8
Continue to make our way to the channel port where we take the short sea crossing to the UK and onwards back to your local area
