We start with a local departure for our journey south and stay for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Godolphin Arms Hotel. This is ideally situated close to Newquay's beaches and convenient for the town centre. The hotel and pub offer you a warm and friendly atmosphere in pleasant surroundings. All rooms have private facilities, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Features include a lounge and bar.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A visit as far as we can go in Cornwall to Land's End, with free time before heading to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries along its cobbled stone streets and harbour side. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us to the heart of the town.
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to take a short cruise on the River Fal or visit Pendennis Castle, (admission not included). Next we travel to Truro - county town of Cornwall, dominated by its splendid cathedral.
