We start with a local departure for our journey south and stay for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at either the Esplanade Hotel, the Sandy Lodge Hotel or the Godolphin Arms Hotel. All roms have private facilities.
The Esplanade Hotel is set overlooking the famous Fristral beach. Features include an indoor leisure centre, bar and restaurant.
The Sandy Lodge Hotel is well located just off the sea front, close to the town and all the amenities. Facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, bar and restaurant.
The Godolphin Arms Hotel is ideally situated close to Newquay's beaches and convenient for the town centre. The hotel and pub offer you a warm and friendly atmosphere in pleasant surroundings. Features include a lounge and bar.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A visit as far as we can go in Cornwall to Land’s End, with free time before heading to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries along its cobbled stoned streets and harbour side. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us to the heart of town.
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to visit Pendennis Castle, (admission not included). Next we travel to Truro - county town of Cornwall, dominated by its splendid cathedral.
You can also join our optional excursion:
A visit to the delightful Eden Project. There will be time to marvel at the tropical vegetation inside the 'space age' biomes. Price £19.95 per person.
