This offers well appointed accommodation and a sun terrace. It is surrounded by various routes for cycling and hiking and has an on-site restaurant.
To round things off, on each night there is a free bar from approximately 20.00 to 23.00 serving local wine, beer, Dutch gin, brandy, martini, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Please Note: Spirits, champagne and bottled beer, cocktails etc are not included and are charged extra. One drink per person, per visit to the bar only.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A visit to central Amsterdam. There will be time to explore at leisure and as well our driver will have details of an optional canal cruise to the parts of this lovely city only accessible from the water. One return coach transfer only will be made back to the hotel
- Dutch countryside. We take you to the picturesque fishing village of Volendam. Many of the inhabitants still wear the traditional costume and you can sample superb fish dishes or genuine Dutch apple pie with cream. There is an unforgettable journey through the Polderlands to visit windmills, a fishing village by the former Zuider Zee, a cheese farm or watch the making of genuine Dutch clogs. The day finishes at the Windmill Museum of Zaanse Schanns – an unrivalled collection of windmills in a reconstructed 18th century Dutch village, (admission charge extra).
On day 4 we take you to Bruges, which is renowned, the world over for its network of canals, churches, elegant houses, leafy lanes, squares and tiny cobbled streets. After a brief visit here we continue our return journey home, arriving back during the evening.
