In the afternoon we have included a sightseeing tour – drive north along the Our Valley which forms a natural border with Germany, to the attractive old town of Clervaux
- A day of beautiful scenery. We travel through the picturesque area known as 'little Switzerland' to cross the German border for a visit to the old Roman town of Trier. See the famous Porta Nigra - the finest preserved Roman city gate north of the Alps, the cathedral or explore the shops. From Trier we return though Echternach - a picturesque town on the River Sauer, still surrounded by its Mediaeval wall with towers
