We start with a local departure for our journey south and stay for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Godolphin Arms Hotel. This is ideally situated close to Newquay's beaches and convenient for the town centre. The hotel and pub offer you a warm and friendly atmosphere in pleasant surroundings. During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A visit as far as we can go in Cornwall to Land's End, with free time before heading to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries along its cobbled stone streets and harbour side. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us to the heart of the town.
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to take a short cruise on the River Fal or visit Pendennis Castle, (admission not included). Next we travel to Truro - county town of Cornwall, dominated by its splendid cathedral.
As well you can join this great optional excursion:
- The Eden Project. A visit to Cornwall's world class visitor destination - a dramatic global garden the size of 30 football pitches featuring some of the world's largest greenhouses.
Price including admission: £19.95 per person
20 November 2017 departure is a Turkey & Tinsel Special
